So a brisket sandwich, bag of beaver chips, and x-large drink would run about $12. Tell me where else I can safely stop right off the interstate, get gas, use clean bathrooms, get a hot and fresh lunch for $12

Chopped brisket for under ten bucks sounds like a good deal to me.

Dude is huge, you can easily split it with someone and then it’s only 4.25 a person. Buc-ees has Duracell batteries and bags of ice for 99 cents, you can buy a grocery bag of good snacks for 25 bucks and cheap drinks gas and spotless restrooms, pay their people great etc

DO NOT frick WITH BUC-EES!!!!

People who get excited over a gas station are a strange breed.

Ok but it’s the best gas station anywhere along I-10. I look forward to grabbing a brisket Sammich and some snacks on my beach trip

I’m pretty sure a shitty Big Mac is almost $6.

I’ll take the brisket sandwich for $8.50. Easy.

I appreciate how they undercut the competition on gas prices, but I guess that is a loss leader and they make most of their money on selling food items and random trinkets.

This is every gas station. NO gas stations make their profits off of fuel sales.

Fresh gas, lots of pumps, clean store, clean smelling restrooms sans feces on the wall and floor, lots of choices for snacks and “travel food”. I don’t go out of my way or rave about them, but when traveling they are always a solid place to stop, all things considered.

They have inflated their prices big time during the last year or so. Not worth it to stop there anymore for us

Who hasn’t inflated their prices over the last year or so?

I had sticker shock at the $8.50 chopped brisket sandwich. I bought one anyway just to try it, and it was okay. Just okay. Maybe worth about half of that price.

Mind telling us where you are getting any brisket sandwiches for $4.25?

They have increased their brisket sandwich prices and brisket breakfast tacos by a lot. Used to be able to get a brisket taco for $3. Not only that but the quality of the brisket has drastically fallen off. I do not think they trim them at all before cooking.
