frick, even 90s into early 2000s was fun. Being dropped off a couple hours early for a movie then roaming around with friends, hit the arcade before/after.

I remember what a treat it was to go to the Plaza Lakeforest as a child. Ice skating, two arcades...

When the Esplanade opened in Kenner (brah) it was the place to be. Now (pre corona) I feel like I'm gonna get stabbed in the parking lot of that place.
