Probably this one. Although a few years after release (and from the late 70s). But I got hooked on Rush in 82 or so.
First clear one was Paisley Park. The clear ones smelled oddly like a bag of tortilla chips.

When we went to Walmart in the days before the Supercenter when they didn’t sell groceries, I’d go straight to the electronics section and look for tapes. The singles tapes were really cheap so I’d look for those. Got a Metallica single tape with Nothing Else Matters on one side and Enter Sandman on the other. Think I was about 7 years old.

I don't remember which ones, but I'm certain I got 12 of them for a penny.

I had mostly 8 tracks and vinyl and didn't mind buying those even after cassettes were out. I believe my first cassette was Quiet Riot Metal Health in 83. Either that or possibly John Cougar Mellancamp American Fool.
