Women were hired for HR by men because men thought that kind of work was beneath them.
So, you are trying to blame women for this, yet men put women into these positions.
A lot of HR is detail oriented, and to be honest, most men are not good at that, so that’s why they thought it was beneath them.
And no, I’m not in HR, never have been.

I’m in Labor Relations. I’ve been in HR, Compliance and Legal. I negotiate contracts, bargain, advocate in arbitration, union prevention, petition fighting, all the other union stuff.
So obviously I get infuriated when people say, “don’t you work in HR”? Getting lumped in with DE&I, staffing, benefits, training, etc is ridiculous.

Yeah, even back then someone had to point out that the 3rd Armored Division lost 161 men last week and needs at least 161 replacements. There has always been personnel management in the military, but not in the pronoun enforcing joke killing sense.

Women are more nurturing and empathetic in general, which is very useful when dealing with all of the bullshite that entitled employees bring.

It exists to employ women and minorities.
