Sorry, I was in a hurry!
Edit: I used an online distance calculator to get the 70 mi distance. Probably between city centers. Distance between city outskirts is probably less.
There is now a warrant for his arrest.

I've driven on that exact same stretch of 25 a couple of times.
It is absolutely viable that he could go that wide open on that stretch of road. It is straight and wide open. The speed limit is 75. Also, people out there drive like absolute assholes. They make drivers here in Atlanta look safe.
But I don't think he made from The Springs to Denver in 20 minutes. I'm calling BS.
