Does this include the idiots that thought they were getting a pension from daddy tax payer? We're all on the hook for the $48 trillion funding gap between unfunded pension liabilities and future taxes

This. I'm OT poor but I could cover a $1k unexpected expense without breaking a sweat. I would be more likely to use my credit card and pay it over 2-3 months but I wouldn't HAVE to. It's just more convenient.

Time to trade in that challenger and drop the $500 car note.

I drive a paid for 2008 CRV and a 95 F250 because car notes suck. Yes, I look like a poor but I can cover many emergencies.

Listened to a girl I work with the other day complain about how she couldn’t afford health insurance. Meanwhile, she just bough a brand new Jeep and her fiancé bought a 30k boat. Makes no sense.

That can easily be covered by Bezos, Gates, Zuckerberg and Buffet. We should just take it from them. Those greedy bastards will just use it to make more money if we let them

It's not necessarily about how much you make, more about how well you budget.

They'll be the ones crying on the local news about how unfair life is the first time their employer lays their dumb arse off.
