According to the Natchitoches Police Department, police received a 911 call around 9:10 p.m. Tuesday that a baby had been taken from a home in Mayberry Trailer Park. A mother said that two unknown subjects came to her trailer and started beating on her door. The woman told police that she opened the door and was sprayed with a substance, possibly mace. She fled the home and later circled back to discover that the baby was missing.

I hope they're interviewing moms pretty rigorously.

This is a most disturbing story. I'm glad they arrested someone. I hope they arrest all involved. I don't know how anyone could do something like this. I find it difficult to even read the story.

The amount of pain that poor baby experienced is heartbreaking and infuriating. It's bad enough a person will kill their child but why choose burning the child to death? This is disgusting.

Yeah it’s sickening

No way this was random; the mom knew who did this. Most likely over drugs

Not the mother. Obituary from one of the news stories states:

Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Billy Dean Ellerbe Jr. and Hanna Nicole Barker

Ok I guess it makes it a little better knowing it wasn't the mother. How another human can burn a baby alive is beyond evil.

I read through some of the facebook comments on the story and apprently the woman who did this is the mother's girlfriend.

Why do I have a feeling the story is BS and mom killed kid

Because that's what happens most of the time with these cases.

There's definitely something going on because they were Mom and the woman arrested are Facebook friends, at the very least.
