You realize this wasn't the truck drivers fault, right? The driver of the car did a turn directly into the path of the semi.

The girls were eastbound on Oklahoma 22 when their vehicle was struck by a rock hauler that was approaching from the east on U.S. 377, OHP Trooper Shelby Humphrey told KXII-TV of nearby Sherman, Texas.

Maps show the intersection is at the end of a 90-degree curve of U.S. 377 from east to south.

The girls’ car was making a right turn when it collided with the truck, Humphrey said.
If you look at the intersection - they had the stop sign, the truck driver did not.

That scene had to be horrific. I don’t think I have it in my to work a scene like that. I think I’d sit on the side of road and cry.

What we need is just way way more goods sent via train or ship or plane and then just have trucks take it that very last little leg of the journey

I don’t know why they are shared on here. But it definitely makes me appreciate all the little moments more.

That sucks for the semi-driver as well. He may have PTSD from that.

I would be a basket case. Even if totally not my fault I would always wonder if their was some I could have done different to prevent it.

Or you could not turn directly in front of them.

Admins need to delete shite like this. There’s ZERO reason to share this info. Now I’m mentally done until Friday.

Sounds perfectly feasible in a time of rocketing inflation.

I disagree 100% life is precious teachable moment for moms and dads out there. 6 people small shite box cars teens driving teens bad driving? NO it should stay up and every parent needs to have a conversation weekly about safe driving act.... they could be next.

Just think of the "What if's".
Literally, one second delay or speefing up of either the truck driver or the girls, no wreck would have occurred.

I used to drive 5-6 others home from baseball practice in high school. In a dodge 600

If we got in a wreck we would have lost the team

I saw this on the news this morning. That is horrible. They showed the car, but it was a shot from a helicopter.. And you could see it was bad, but damn.. I hope those poor girls didn't feel any of it.
