I expect my money back when you're at full health. It was a loan.

Kidding, I am glad you're still making progress.

I can walk and not wobble but I do limp.

My speech is strong in the AM, passable to about 8-ish from there its a crapshoot. Im hoping to get back behind the wheel in a month, in wide-open parking lots to practice.
The right arm is alive but the tightness from disuse is a challenge so the progress there is limited so far

Day to day I just try to move as much as I can, I live alone so the day has challenges in it,, but I shower, cook, do laundry, clean do all the necessaries and the I walk, get in te pool the little gym at the apartment office and just do to the point of I can do no more,,, then Im EXHAUSTED for a day, then I do it again

if I'm not laughing I start thinking about it and might start crying

Yeah I get it. We’ve had some rough days through all this.

Dad is pretty self sufficient as far as household chores, hygiene, etc. goes. I’ve had him out at the farm and let him drive me around and he does fine, but he can’t go 3 or 4 months without having a seizure, so they won’t clear him.

Physically, his right arm is his weak point also, and stamina is probably not quite as good as yours. He does well for a good 6 hours, then is ready to rest for the remainder of the day. He sleeps 12-14 hours easily.

Keep working, man. Stroke recovery is heart breaking and amazing at the same time. You have a huge support system that you can come to when you need it. I thought my mom was going to have to wipe my Dad’s arse for the rest of his life, but we’re still seeing progress almost 2 years later.

5 months after my wife went “who the F is Phil?” On our credit card statement, I can finally tell her our friend Phil has recovered enough to tell us all to F off.

She will be happy to hear our donation went to such a great cause.

Using a pix of Cris March might not be the best choice here, but the thought is good.
