What size kid can fit in third row? Are seats easy to fold up and down?

I have 2 kids (and 2 car seats) and the 4Runner is big enough for that IMO
I would not consider a 3rd seat in the 4Runner though, you lose a good bit of height in the back when the seats are folded down...go with a different vehicle if you need a 3rd row

Any other suggestions? Will be trading in a Pilot, but not crazy about new body style.

4Runner
Get it levelled and lifted a few inches

You driving it for 60k miles or 260k? If 260k, get the 4Runner. If mom-mobile driving <10k/year, get the most comfortable vehicle. Although resale value of the 4Runner will be much greater than the other two.

Likely going to be a mom vehicle that I drive every now and then. Normally take my truck on trips because it has lot of room for kids with luggage in bed covered. If a Sequoia or Tahoe or Expedition or whatever else is $60k wasn’t so expensive, I’d probably just get that, but I really don’t want to spend that much money. Guess I may just have to suck it up. Was hoping to hear some good reviews on Palisade or Atlas because of third row.

I currently have 3 car seats, two forward and one rear facing in 2018 4Runner. Would I like more space? Sure, but that's what roof racks are for.
ETA: it's a two row 4Runner, we need proper 4x4, that's why I have it.

Get the 4Runner for reliability and resale.
I agree this would be a big thing if comparing these 3 vehicles.

3rd row in atlas is very roomy, especially if you move the 2nd row up. Like I said though, unless you plan on leasing I wouldn’t buy. If you wait about 5-6 months when the lease goes up I’ll sell you mine. It’s in excellent shape and will have less than 20k on it. You will save prob 10k I’d guess.

Telluride is better than all of them. Hard to come by though but a fully loaded telluride MSRP is like $49K with the lower end around $35k

The 4Runner? Others may look better but won’t last longer...
Other suggestion would be get an SR5...kids will wreak havoc on a Limited

You would have been even better off if you would have gotten a trail model. Those things have held their value

I dont understand the appeal of an SUV if it doesnt have 7 seats. If its only a 5 seater why not get a full size truck with a camper shell. Separates cargo from passengers is much nicer if you got stinky kids sports gear

Only issue I had was the front power lock actuators went out. I changed them myself for a couple hundred bucks.

4Runner. Will probably outlast you. Rock solid vehicle.
