Trying not to break the bank with new vehicle. Any thoughts on the ones mentioned above?

Atlas has a ton of room but it’s a VW so it breaks a good bit and the service is horrible. I wouldn’t do anything but lease one.

I got mine replaced on lemon law due to a crushed fuel line they couldn’t find and the new one had at least a couple of sensor issues and now has a sway bar issue. I should make out pretty good though because I think I will be able to sell out the newer year model one with a lot less miles for a good bit more than the payout at the end of the lease.

I really like the car it is so roomy and I like the look but you would go broke after the warranty runs out.

First you need to decide if you want/need an SUV or a crossover.

4Runner is an SUV while the others are crossovers. They drive very differently.

New or used? If used throw the GX in the mix. It’s basically a slightly better 4Runner.

I think a Telluride is the same as a Palisade. My brother bought one and it’s pretty nice.

Palisade over Atlas for sure. I did the research for you.

Would need to know more about your situation to know about 4runner vs palisade. But the 4runner is the better vehicle

4Runner

In my whole family we’ve only ever had one bad Toyota - and it’s actually still running - lol

When we bought a new car in the summer of 2019 - I loved the Highlander but it was too small for us. When and if some of the kids move out I may get one - lol

Do you want an SUV or a mini-van with 4 doors? I'd never consider an Atlas - both because it's ugly and it's made by VW. Palisade and 4Runner are comparable, but the reliability of the 4Runner should be enough to win the argument, IMO.

I bought a new 4Runner this past summer and have been very pleased so far. So maybe I'm a little biased. Also, my least favorite trend in the SUV market is the mini-van look, so that probably influences my opinion as well.

Look at the Mazda cx9 if you’re interested in a palisade. But I’d take the 4 runner from the three choices you gave.

Probably going to buy something a year or two old with somewhere around 30k miles. Won’t be driven a ton because my wife works from home now and we are close to school. Just not sure if 4Runner is big enough with two kids. I like it the best, but just not sure on practicality.

Get the 4Runner for reliability and resale.
I bought a limited in ‘15 for $42k and traded it a couple weeks ago with 90,000 miles for $23,200. So basically cost me $300/mo over 5.5yrs.

Only issue I had was the front power lock actuators went out. I changed them myself for a couple hundred bucks.

I think it is - but that’s my opinion

We only have 1 kid but when he has a friend or a cousin we haven’t had any issues with our GX, which is the same size as the 4Runner.
