I didn’t recognize the ladies, so I looked them up, and I have never heard of the Bangles. I was 21 40 years ago, so maybe I was just past the stage of noticing. Pretty girls, though.

How in the hell could someone who was 21 in 1984 have never hear Walk Like An Egyptian? It was everywhere. I'm pretty sure I hadn't heard of The Bangles in 1984, but when Walk Like an Egyptian came out, they were impossible to miss.

I'm 62 and remember the Bangles quite well...and the Go Go's. They both got a lot of airplay on KLSU early on before they were picked up by commercial radio.
