A lot of investment in this general area. I really hope the Bezos inspecting the Morgan City area is true

agreed.

Mississippi is supposed to be making a huge announcement this week too that will "shock the economic world"

whatever that means. but overall work going to the general area of the country is a great thing imo.

This is a great thing for my hometown. They have been starving for jobs for a long time. Hopefully this brings some good to the towns of Franklin and Baldwin. I have heard though, that this place is poaching all of Metal Sharks fabricators....

How will this affect the genetic monopoly on tugboat pilot licenses?

No, actually he's not. He's moved on to Good Day Farms, he's crushing it.

I was talking to a Navy guy about Saronic recently. He was saying how woefully inadequate the sensors they are relying on are for what they want to do. He stopped short of straight up saying Saronic is a straight up con job, but it was heavily implied.

I pass by it every three weeks to crew change in Houma. I've seen it being built from the beginning.

Bollinger was sold in 2014 to the Chouest family. They have long term contracts with the Coast Guard to build Fast Response Cutters and Polar Security Cutters.
