It’s the OT. A place literally designed for off topic conversations. But if someone starts a thread with a judgmental view of how someone spends their money, someone like you has to jump in and show moral superiority because you would never dare judge how another lives, even though you’re doing just that by posting your judgmental opinion.

They are considered motorcycles... they are not by any means, but there are advantages to being considered a motorcycle.
I drove one at a private motorcycle event where you got to try out a bunch of different bikes, they can be fun but give me a sports car or a motorcycle all day long over one of these things.

Rented a sling shot for a tour around the three sisters in central texas. It was a blast. Horsepower to weight ratio much better than a corvette. Could spin the drive tire in 3rd gear. Consider it a bucket list line item

Where I live I see these mid ages black guys driving with female next to them in little almost biker gangs on the weekend. They are not bad people just folks cruising and having a good time.

I saw the plans for building your own, just like that, in an issue of "Popular Mechanics" magazine back in the early 70s.
You needed a Kawasaki 750 to supply the power. You fabricated a U addition to attach to the Kawasaki Frame, and a VW Beetle front end attached to that.
Then you built your body however you wanted it. The one that they built and showed in the magazine, looked really similar to that one in your post.
I really wanted to build one.
