No one ever said it was impossible. I only said gen x was not the majority generation of parents to millennials.

The cut off for millennials is mid 90s. Mid 90s into the 2000s are gen z.
Also. if Millennials are 84-95, and the the average first child, especially in that generation occured prior to parent age 25, then that means the typical birth year range for that child was 1959-1970. And that's assuming the parental age of 25 which is actually HIGH.
Bottom line, there's a TON of crossover

I think this is because of the rampant bullshite about how much better people had it in the 60's and 70's.
Now life may have been less stressful, but only because people had far better coping skills.

Nuclear War isn't scary if you live in a big city. Either, it's not going to happen or you die instantaneously, and it's suddenly not your problem anymore.
You know what's way scarier than Nuclear War? Financial instability. If you lose your job, you don't just suddenly vaporize, you have to figure out how to make shite work in the short/long term. You can easily slip from middle class lifestyle down to couch surfing or moving back in with mom & dad in a heartbeat if you're not prepared, and it is difficult to have much runway saved up when you're still in your 20's.
Nuclear War isn't scary, in my opinion, unless you live somewhere on the fringes of a blast zone where you'll have to limp away from the holocaust that follows.
