Looks like no matter the company name it's under: Dodge, Fiat-Chrysler or now Stellantis, it's still a piece of crap truck. Not sure why Cummins doesn't make a deal with GM or Ford to offer their engine in some of their models.

They’re working on a fix. Don’t act like Ford doesn’t have recalls.

I mean, it would be really hard to replace all the Dodge parts at this point.

Have you followed Ford at all this year? Them and Hyundai been duking it out for most recalls.

Because the Duramax is a workhorse of an engine. GM is fine with what they have under the hood.

or Ford

Ford would have loved to have a Cummins back when they went through their abortion of a diesel engine called the 6.0 and 6.4.

Was a damn good engine. Unfortunately, Ford couldn't get it to meet the commie hippy pinko fig (California weirdo shite heels) emission requirements, so it had to be scrapped. It was scrapped for the 6.0. Imagine going from a 7.3 to a 6.0

Fun fact: The engines on M1 Abrams tanks and the 7.3 Cummins had interchangeable parts.

Isn’t the Abrams engine a Gas Turbine? Basically a jet engine being converted to mechanical energy?

Every single automaker has recalls.

The Takata airbag recall that started in 2017 still hasn't finished.

Ford and GM do not want them. For Ford, it would be admitting (right or wrong) that their own design and build is inferior. For GM, it would mean totally dissolving their relationship with Izuzu.

What they should do is recall their garbage arse fricking ABS system in the HD trucks. I cannot believe they've gotten away with leaving that steaming pile of shite in the customer's laps.
