I only eat fast food occassionally and use the in the mail coupons unless I am on the company dime. Had a Popeyes chicken sandwich meal for $5.99 last week that was solid. I noticed a few months ago at a Wendy's their meals are all over $10...seems like fast food is no longer cost effective over dine in restaurants.

bc why? you order at a counter, seat yourself, no hostess, you refill your drinks at a counter, throw your food away,... oh there's peanuts...

It's definitely over priced but I still go every so often. I would be sold if the prices were lower and they had good sweet tea. 4/5 because the price.

I love the 5 Guys burger, but I'm not paying those prices.

I'm not THAT lazy to make a burger at my home.

but it drives me insane that their single patty burger is labeled as if it is a children's meal.

Biden is putting together a task force to punish food vendors for high prices. Talk about fighting the symptoms and not the disease.

It comes out to 424 at Brubacher's in Baton Rouge for my favorite chicken sandwich, with two teas and a small tip. Which is huge so I split it. It seems like not long ago it was just over $11 with taxes. I'm not picking on them, or any other restaurant, I'm just wondering when I walk into Torchy's to buy a $6 taco how the kids can afford to drop $25 there three times a week.

I have REALLY cut back on meals and groceries. I'm on a high protein diet now so it's easy but more expensive in some ways.

For 14.99 (plus tax) you can get a chilis Bacon Cheesburger (half pound), fries, chips and salsa, and a drink.

Why the downvotes. Elections have consequences is the truth. That’s right can’t say that here.
