$21.91, no tip from me. Also, if I pay $12 for a burger, it’s going to be a good local joint, not a chain. Yikes.

Why is a “little fry” $5?

You’re not lying.

It’s actually $21 on the menu for a burger and fries. I assume a Coke would be $2 or so. Plus tip and you’re at $26-$28.

5 Guys whole ordering system is kinda backwards, and really only works if you have multiple people. Their regular burgers are double patty, so if you want a regular size burger, you have to downsize and order a 'little' burger, and their $5 small fry is enough for 3 people easily.

I've said this on here before, but it drives me insane that their single patty burger is labeled as if it is a children's meal.

Most people have been to Five Guys these days and know to order the Little Hamburger if they aren't men, but I feel like so many people on their first visit have no idea the Little one is a normal sized burger with 1 patty.

Bacon Cheeseburger

Onion, Lettuce, Pickles, Tomatoes, Jalapeno Peppers, Green Peppers, Grilled Mushrooms, Grilled Onions
$10.69

That is for their "little" bacon cheeseburger. Their current online menu jives with the receipt from the OP at $12.69. $18 before tax for a burger and fries is steakhouse pricing.

$8 bucks for a small fry and a drink. No thanks.

Small fries are about the size of the tub of popcorn at the movies

Five Guys shouldn't be a baseline for a "fastfood burger".

A $12 quality hamburger is not a bad deal

It’s obvious that wherever FG is getting their potatoes is what’s making that bill seem expensive

Splitting fries due to size is one thing but if I have to split a $3 drink for cost purposes I am not eating out.
