That's actually why I bought a '19 Tundra. My parking lot is filled with $80k trucks. 2500 diesel Rams, 2500 diesel GMCs & Chevys, AT4, Lariat, Platinum Fords. After hearing and seeing the issues with the electronics, leaking roofs, seats not working, trailer modules not responding, screens freezing, etc. I wanted something basic. I do have heated seats, because I'm not a barbarian.

I'm not a "wear mask while driving" person, but I will cut the driver in the photo some slack. Since it appears to be a test drive of the prototype, there may be multiple people who will be getting in the truck to work when the driver stops, so he is probably required to wear the mask.

Which one is more behind, the Tundra or the Titan? Hasn't the Titan always had bad marketshare?

I was in the market about a year ago and saw several Titans I really liked. Seemed most of the reviews said "this is a really good truck, it's just not as good as any of the others"

They haven't fallen behind, they've never been big on offering options you don't need. They focus on building a good reliable truck and they're best at it.
If all the flashy options that break after a few years is your thing, then don't buy Toyota.

Agreed. I've got an 18 Tundra and I'm not sure what options I'm missing out on. It's got everything I need. After being a lifelong Chevy driver, I bought it for the durability. I'm at 80,000 miles and couldn't be happier so far.

I have an '11 Tundra. The only things that I've ever needed to do are oil changes, tires and a battery. It's the best vehicle I've ever owned.

The giant screens that control everything.....UGH. I wish that design trend would end. If the screen dies, you can't turn on the radio or the A/C.
