I didn’t even know it was a thing. As a child of the 80s I still love the original. It’s still the height of cool to me. I’m not hating the re-boot though

I've been looking at this thing for a few months now trying to figure out if I like it or not and I just don't think I do. As far as Lambos go, this thing is pretty vanilla.

This is not a popular take but I think my favorite Lambo design is the Gallardo.

I do like how they show how small the original Countache is. It's a very popular commentary by people who own them is that you don't understand how small they are until you see one in person, and I've never seen one in person.

That is truly an unpopular opinion

It is a horrible design failure. It ended up being too constrained by the Aventador/Sian mechanicals and some of the other parts are just borrowed from other cars. Ferrari for example building just over 100 "special" cars would never have shown the kind of bean-counting Lamborghini did for this model. That monster fake NACA duct??? It could have and should have been a very special car, the positive is it will run and drive much better than its historical namesake but it has none of the wow factor that gave the first one its name when viewed against the current super/hyper car landscape.

ETA people should keep in mind this is a 2.5 million dollar special edition. It isn't like it is a $280k Huracan level car.

With that I feel like you'll only be able to pull chics with full bush and permed hair.

Not that there's anything wrong with that

Obtuse is correct here and many people have bashed on Lamborghini for going the cheap route (not that it was that cheap)

They have done better special editions, they did not here.

It’s an outrageously overpriced Aventador with a bad body kit.

But I’d still drive it.

With 2020's technology. And I think that's fine. The Countach is a beautiful car, no need for drastic changes.

When I was a kid, my first relative awareness of European sports cars was right around the time they switched from the Countach to the Diablo. Glad to see it back.
