No cherokee here, but I had a 2009 wrangler that I put about 165k miles on it without a single problem. Just regular scheduled maintenance that you would do with any other car, fluid changes, filter changes, etc.

Would still be driving it except the fact that the back seat was getting smaller and smaller with 2 kids in there frequently. Traded it in for new 2019 4 door wrangler 2 years ago.

Zero complaints or problems

Any banks offering 120 month auto loans?

You bet your arse they are, and have been for a while.

Also, you wouldn’t believe the number of people that use their business to purchase their daily drivers, especially when the daily driver exceeds $100K. Just create an LLC, funnel some money through it, and write off your autos going forward. 120 months on something like this is the norm.

Manufactures are starting to look at offering 120 months also. Several offer 84 already on their high end vehicles.

ETA: I wonder if the amps in that land yacht are class A/B. McIntosh makes some of the, if not the, finest class A/B amps on the planet. The stereo would be $10K of the price, if not more, if so. The new Lincolns have 28 speakers...I wonder how many they crammed in the jeep. Who manufactures the speakers themselves. Tuning can only do so much...you can’t have performance without decent speakers too.

On the Jeep site, the reveal video is woke, blonde chick with back dude. Jepp keepin’ it real. That Super Bowl commercial set the tone.

I’m assuming that financing a $103k vehicle requires great credit.

The negotiation comes later. Right now it is just a reservation. I may very well change my mind.

I assume they will be snobs and act like they are doing me a favor by selling me one.

Looks more like a suburban than the current suburban does. I like it.

We’ve had several Grand Cherokees. All of them well over 100k miles before selling or trading them in, none with major problems. Mom had a 95 that my sister ended up driving in college around 2001. Dad had a 2000 that I traded with him in 2005. I sold it in 2007 and got a 2005 that I drove for 7-8 years. Also a couple of Wranglers that I had without anything going wrong. They may not be 200-300k mile vehicles like a Toyota but you can easily get 150k out of them.

The feedback I needed to hear. Thanks. I will never drive a car long enough to get to 200K. The most I have had on a car was 168K, and that thing felt like it was driven for eternity.

I highly appreciate reliable cars, but I also value technology and safety, which advances way faster over the life of the car.

Yeah, 3...it's fine on reliability. Ive driven my '08 rubi 160k miles no big issues. It has a very mild tranny stall from 3-4.

Fantastic, the weakness is usually elsewhere in the drivetrain...tranny, etc.

With warranty I wouldn't worry at all

I like jeeps styling here but Chrysler has had issues with their transmissions and parts on those pentastar engines wearing down prematurely.

I don't trust them to start getting it right.
