Looks like Amateur Hour at the track surface.

Yeah waiver or not, speed bumps on the asphalt opens up their liability.

What does this amateur and others like him think when they try to hit 200mph? Bad shite is a possibility.

Did the drivers not do a track walk beforehand?

Waivers mean nothing in LA

Nothing but a additional piece of evidence that will be considered in a court case, and will not absolve the race track from liability due to negligence on their part.

Indy ran on this track before, rain spolied it that time and the track was questioned some.

Let's not pretend there haven't been deaths or seriously bad crashes there.

I don’t know if I buy the 200 mph part. I’ve never seen them run the track configuration that runs the full straight, and on the normal configuration, you ain’t hitting 200 mph. Sucks to hear, but any time you roll onto the track you know you are taking this risk. Hope no lawsuits result - that’s one of my pet peeves, when families of those who die on any type of track end up filing suit.

Agree. If he tried it that's the reason he is room temp now.

And he shouldn’t have tried to go that speed. No individual responsibility anymore.

That's what I'm wondering. Don't you go a couple of times around the track at low speed to feel any irregularities before you push the giggle button to the floor? If you feel washboard, you don't run or you sure as hell slow down before you get to it.

Trying to ask now. When I read the packet there wasn't a set time for walking the track, but it could have been in the "refreshment and drivers meeting"

If he was the 5th car and just went full out that screams careless. Especially since there were unlimited runs that could be made

I know from past threads that everyone on the OT has gone around 200mph in their cars. This could’ve been any of us.

Brandon Hentges kind of sounds like a douche who’s upset someone died and ruined his chance at a 200 mph run.
