This was Jeff Hagaman, very likeable and well respected guy. He runs two cars, most known for his worlds fastest Cadillac CTSV and this GTR.
1/2 mile events are a different animal. There are many factors on the big end. Suspensions and power are tuned for the track surface and conditions.

I wonder if Brandon has ever watched an auto race and seen the sparks fly from vehicles as they bounce over bad sections of track? It happens all the time.

Also, a car capable of going two hundred miles per hour down the track should have a roll cage. Did this car have one and did it fail? What other issues about the car failed? Drivers roll five times at that speed and walk away all the time.

The driver was decapitated. His head was thrown out of the car and his body was still strapped in. Got this from a source at the event.

My folks’ nextdoor neighbor took his NSX out there last year.
He had to get new tires after running around that track. They chewed them to hell, quick.

Calling bullshite on this. I did a half dozen track days on one set of tires and had no issues.
