It's really sad watching people of color take shoes and televisions, thinking this will give them the mobility and connectivity to obtain sustainable and healthy food since they live in food deserts.
This is why all truly educated white progressives have a duty to help people of color rise above their inherent inability to take care of themselves. It's a burden for the white progressive, but it's a burden that must be shouldered with humility and dignity.
