At this rate it’s probably cheaper to get a group together, buy a whole cow and have it slaughtered and butchered

Probably. But I think those are all 2+ year waitlists.

I agree with that. Its like when people raise hell over $3 gas but don't say anything about a $4 gallon of milk.

I don’t need gallons of milk to get to work and home every week. Just because they are sold in the same unit of measurement doesnt make them fair comparisons

I am seeing more and more articles about fake meat and using veggies instead of meat. This is some BS.

Should we be...
Eating more veggies? Sure
Eating fake meat? Frick no

I'm a fan of eating natural foods. And fake meat it the antithesis of natural food.

Not all vegetables are created equally. More starches and carbs and surgery ones? No. More Soy? No. More vegetable seed oils? No.

Try buying prime ribeye/new york strip/ filet from Calandro's.

You are looking at $35+/pound.

And I will buy it all day.

That seems extremely reasonable if not underpriced.

Prime ribeye should be anywhere from 17.99-30.00 per lb with filet 18.99 to 40+ per lb.

If you’re getting wagyu easily 100+ per lb

It's really sad watching people of color take shoes and televisions, thinking this will give them the mobility and connectivity to obtain sustainable and healthy food since they live in food deserts.

Well done.

And it took me here to know 100% this was a troll.

Nicely done

It blows my mind, the trolls that people take seriously on here. It just furthers my belief that most of the accounts here (and everywhere else) belong to NPC's in the simulation. A true human would recognize such an obvious troll.

Not to mention Centinel is a frequent poster with very vocal opinions that don't align with this thread

Just don’t buy it. I’ll splurge on a prime steak from the butcher every now and then, but I mostly just buy whatever choice steaks are on sale at Publix. NY Strips are $11.99 per lb right now. May buy a couple for tonight.
