Man I've come to the realization over the years that if you try to get rid of stuff by worrying about where it goes you never get rid of it. No one cares about your stuff like you care about it. I know it's sentimental to you but if your trying to give it away is it really important? Keep a certain amount of items that hold true meaning to you and throw everything else out into the dump. Don't mean this to be rude or uncaring. My parents held on to everything from their parents and no one can do anything with it and it just sits in a storage room and collects dust and rots.

I've got my paw Paw's from the 20's. They're pretty cool. I plan on passing them to my grandkids.

What year was it that the Dekes got in trouble because in one of their yearbook pics, some dude had his dick hanging out? Its was in the late 90s.

It was 97/98. I remember at the time students making a big deal out of this.

I have mine from ‘07-‘09, don’t even think they made one in 2010.

They have a book sale every year in the John M Parker. Donate to them.
They have some of the older Gumbo's from time to time.

All the Gumbos are digitized and available for free online dating back to the 1920s. So are the Tulane Jambalayas which go back even further.

Hard copies aren't worth much except for sentimental value.

I had all of the yearbooks from Covington High from 1962-1982 when my grandmother was secretary there. I donated them to the library for their genealogy section. They gratefully accepted them.

Trying to get rid of stuff. Parents both died in 2020 and worthless sibs did nothing to help me get rid of 76 years of parents accumulation.
My sibs weren’t worthless only not local so it fell to me to get rid of a household that was two depression kids.

They kept some shite (fortunately in the attic).

I ain’t doing that to my kids.

I have one of my dad’s UK yearbooks, that’s it. “The Kentuckian”.

I have the one with Joanne Woodward in it...

We had this one as well, but all of my Dad's old books got ruined when a pipe burst at our house. We threw them away after he died. He was at LSU in the late '30's then after WW2. I still have his Istrouma H.S. "Pow Wow" from 1938.

I likely have one with your Dad in it, I'll check and see if I have 1938 today.

I was surprised at how racy some of the cartoons were, given the times.

You shouldn't talk like this to old (er) females.

Not interested in your dates with Rosy Palm.

I have a Gumbo yearbook from 1958, when my dad was there. No idea if it's worth anything.

When I was in school I found a box next to the trash bin behind Middleton that was filled with old yearbooks. I took the cool ones that had Shaq, Pete, Cannon, etc. sold those on eBay. Found the others weren’t worth much.

It didn't start with a sex inquiry. I am looking to give them away not have someone jerk off to them.

Really????? You're so inappropriate.

You're obviously into selfie hand jobs.

Why perv? No one wants to come within 10 feet of your teeny weenie?
