There aren't many people around. My dad would be almost 96 if he were still alive.

Mom had some friends that are still alive but not many.

An old Gumbo yearbook is one from attending LSU 45 and 80 years ago

There are collectors who will buy them. Generally not worth much from those years. I would take them the Friends of the LSU Library and donate them. They will sell them at their annual sale to help fund LSU Library purchases.

weiner out

What year was that?

I saw a weiner out in the Bellagio lobby the night before LSU USC game.

I've seen bigger penises on a 11 foot alligator.

Don't care about $ ... just want stuff gone before I die. I am living in an impossible situation that I wouldn't want anyone else to deal with.

I really need a bulldozer and dumpsters.

Trying to get rid of stuff. Parents both died in 2020 and worthless sibs did nothing to help me get rid of 76 years of parents accumulation.

Have an estate sale. My dad had his API {Auburn} year books from 1939-43. I kept 1 and we sold the others. Just brought a few bucks but, we didn't have to throw them out.

Similar here. Dad would be ninety-four if he were still here today. Strangely enough, it was thirty-one years ago today that he suddenly passed away in his sleep on a Sunday morning. No sign of illness, nothing to warn us. He was just suddenly gone.

I still like to dig out his old Gumbos and go through them to see what LSU was then compared to what it was when I was there in the 80s. It's pretty neat to see his photo in the ROTC section as the senior ranking cadet. I also have that same one you have with Joanne Woodward. And then in the section for athletics Y.A. Tittle is listed at quarterback. So, yeah, there's some neat history in those older ones.

I went to LSU for 4 years and never got or knew anyone who got one. I don't even know how those who got one did it.

They would have some students handing them out from a couple of giant boxes. It was either outside of the union or the library. I can't remember.

During the mid to late 70s the PMAC had incredible lineup of concerts. It's interesting to check out the photos of those bands that performed there.

Then there was the year or so in the early 90s when the yearbook weirdos did 2-3 smaller books rather than one annual one.

I mean are you just looking to get rid of them? If so I'd definitely take them. Or are you trying to sell them?

All that cool junk you’re buying now is going to be junk to your kids. I’m trying to remove crap from my house but my wife is resistant. Swedish death cleaning is the way to go.

What year was it that the Dekes got in trouble because in one of their yearbook pics, some dude had his dick hanging out? Its was in the late 90s.
