Implying that there were weather women in 1976.

Women were in the kitchen in 1976. Not that that was a bad thing.

By any objective measure, life was worse in 1976

Why this board lionizes the mid to mid late 20th century is weird

Ten percent of young females wore no bra in the 70s. Discussion is concluded.

This isn't about the women. It's about climate change.

Can attest, in 1974 I asked my 2nd grade music teacher if she was wearing a bra (because she was not). This was in Massachusetts and she was wearing a turtleneck sweater and she was hot. Kinda like Welcome Back Kotter’s wife.

Can still vividly remember getting my first BJ while the truck radio was playing "Come and Get Your Love" by Redbone. Has remained one of my favorite songs for 52 years.

You weren’t around in 356 AD, so how do you know life was worse then than 2026?

It depends on your viewpoint. Yeah.. if you like people walking around with their noses stuck in cellphone 24/7, the inability of people to think for themselves lest they be ostracized, the constant fearmongering by politicians and media and the ever more intrusive government and big brother... then yeah... we are much better off today.
