That man looks like a stranger to me.

Well played.
Not just any stranger, but The Stranger.

A lot of European cities could claim these different looks (without the temp World's Fair structures). Rome built their embankment of the Tiber around this time. London had done something similar with the Thames a few decades prior.

I honestly had no idea the Eiffel Tower was that old. Anyone know when was it built and/or its original purpose.
The accepted narrative is it was built in 1887 as a temporary structure to promote France's industrial prowess and commemorate the French Revolution.

In the coming series of threads other cities will be discussed.

He went to Paris
Looking for answers
To questions that bothered him so
He was impressive
Young and aggressive
Savin' the world on his own
But the warm summer breezes
The French wines and cheeses
Put his ambition at bay
His summers and winters
Scattered like splinters And four to five years slipped away

That's what happens when you are overran and don't even realize it.

It doesn’t.
Wahibism doesn’t play well with others.
It’s not Lutherans and Episcopalians.

Only the OT can take a thread about one of the most timeless, beautiful cities in the world and make it about New Orleans, Muslims, black people, and whatever the hell else triggers you baws.

Gustave Eiffel was a major contributor (arguably the most significant structural contributor) to the Statue of Liberty.

Don’t most cities have more buildings as time goes on? What happened here? Did the two World Wars destroy any buildings in Paris possibly?
Posted on 6/25/19 at 5:31 pm to Hidden Tiger
Wow the sky was a lot browner in 1900.

The time it took me to type this post is longer than the time it would take you to figure this out.
