Sorry to bump an old thread but my wife watches the ID channel all the time and they've been heavily advertising a special on this case airing next Friday if anyone is interested. Did they ever end up identifying the culprit?

Quentin Tellis did it. They've tried him twice, both mistrials. He is awaiting trial for a separate murder a year later, in Louisiana now.

I would have suggested that they check the group that tortured Channon Christian to death in Knoxville, but none are out of jail yet.
