I have read 2 different versions of the penalty if he is non-compliant with state-supervised rehabilitation plan, but if he is forbidden to view porn especially violent porn and/or the rehabilitation pushes him confront that violent sexual offender nature I can’t see him staying in compliance. But the state program is likely shite like most.

If no other sides or aspects to story the level of sexual deviance being described isn’t going away. With the second girl it doesn’t state if the choking was also sexual in any manner including without consent, but again if it was along with the sex when unconscious with the first girl he is going to repeat.

I have seen teens in over their head with sex while too immature to handle the drama, emotions, jealousy, and so on get violent with each other, then get help, mature, and not repeat any of it as adults; but this never included violence during sexual activity (based only on him making a recording of the choking but may not have been sexual at all at the start or for the girl at all), violence to the point of making the other unconscious, or a rape after making the other unconscious from violence much less all of the above.

Anyone know what Oklahoma usual requires to push a juvenile crime to be tried as an adult?
quote:

According to the Oklahoma State Courts Network, Butler will remain subject to the sentence ordered on Aug. 25, 2025, which was 10 years, pending his compliance or non-compliance with the youthful offender rehabilitation plan.

The court extended jurisdiction to Butler's 19th birthday, and he is now under the oversight of the Office of Juvenile Affairs, pending his compliance or non-compliance with the court's orders.

quote:

Court documents show Butler remains bound by a sentence issued Aug. 25, 2025, contingent on full compliance with a state-supervised rehabilitation plan.

While Butler was sentenced to a total of 78 years, the sentence is suspended under Oklahoma’s youthful offender program, meaning he will not serve prison time unless he violates the program’s conditions.

He remains under Office of Juvenile Affairs supervision until his 19th birthday, subject to counseling, therapy, more than 100 hours of community service, a curfew, no social media, daily check-ins and weekly counseling, according to documents obtained by Fox News.

If Butler fulfills the terms of the program and avoids further legal trouble, he can remain out of prison, though any violation could result in the full sentence being enforced.

With the sunglasses he looks a little like the recently fired head coach at Oklahoma State where his daddy worked. The dad might want to get a DNA test.

Best you set that up right……otherwise he’s dead and buried and you are waiting for your own trial.

Reading some more on this it appears the law allows 16 and 17 year old offenders (at time of crime) the right to seek certification as a youthful offender which is in between adult and juvenile, but while that status favors rehabilitation it also allows the teen to be held past the age of 18 and can be sentenced closer to an adult. That is probably why if he doesn’t comply with rehabilitation terms he is facing a 10 year sentence. It seems like they could and should have forced him to have some jail time. Maybe they can’t force rehabilitation and jail.

It was the Judge who granted him that status.
quote:

Butler was a popular baseball player at his high school in Stillwater, and his father is the former director of operations for the OSU football team. The special judge who granted Butler youthful offender status, Susan Worthington, also has longstanding ties to OSU, where she earned two bachelor's degrees.

More details from arrest affidavits. I don’t see how this guy can be rehabilitated and should be in jail.
quote:

Police reports detail brutal incidents of sexual violence

According to arrest affidavits, Stillwater police investigated Butler in various incidents throughout 2024. Two victims reported the crimes to Stillwater High School authorities in September of that year. One student told a school resource officer that she and Butler were in a romantic relationship from late January to early March 2024.

The affidavits detailed several incidents in February 2024 where the first victim said she did not want to have sexual intercourse with Butler but that he would aggressively force her into the act. After some of the incidents, she even began to bleed. According to the affidavit, the first victim “complied with Butler out of fear of what he would do to her if she did not.”

She “was scared and crying,” a Stillwater police detective wrote. “She told Butler, ‘no,’ but he did not listen.”

The first victim also said that in late February 2024 she was strangled by Butler until she became unconscious, after she refused to have sex with him. “When she regained consciousness Butler was laughing at her,” the investigator wrote. “Following this incident, (she) reported she had a handprint and injury on her neck.”

According to the victim's impact statement, a medical professional told her that she had only been 30 seconds away from dying. She since has had to have surgery on her neck.

The other victim reported her relationship with Butler began in late March 2024 and ended after six months. “During their relationship, (she) reported Butler was often physically and mentally abusive and had sexually assaulted her on numerous occasions,” according to the affidavit.

The second victim also told investigators that in mid-summer 2024 Butler sexually assaulted her after he recorded strangling her to unconsciousness. A detective later searching Butler’s phone wrote that she found video of at least one incident matching the timeframe.

“No matter what I told him it did not change his mind,” the victim told investigators.

I believe that vast vast majority on the right, middle, and left would find this unacceptable. Hey, at least you found a way to bring politics into this. You might want to read up on the DA.
Dude you made the thread to show everyone white kids do bad things in right wing controlled areas and get off just like black people do in dem controlled areas. We all know why you made the thread

Now, the police chief or whoever in this case is pissed and going to try to fix it.

That’s always absent from the stories where black people are the bad guy.

Might not change much, but it was a judge who granted the youthful offender status and approved the rehabilitation plan submitted by the Office of Juvenile Affairs. She had earlier denied him being certified as a juvenile, but in a later hearing approved youth offender status (basically in between juvenile and adult).

She was initially appointed by another Judge to thr Special Judge position. Not sure if she has to go thru election process.

quote:

The Worthington Dynasty: Fifty Years of Control

The name Worthington came up again and again.

Judge Susan Worthington, who currently serves in Payne County, has gained a reputation among locals for her leniency in sexual offense and domestic violence cases, repeatedly lowering bail, issuing suspended sentences, and reducing penalties for repeat offenders.

But according to longtime residents, this pattern stretches back generations. Her father, Judge Don Worthington, held the same position before her.

Between them, the Worthingtons have effectively controlled the Payne County bench for over fifty years combined.

Half a century of one family presiding over cases involving sexual assault, domestic abuse, and child exploitation, shaping the courtroom culture that Stillwater lives under today.

When power stays in the same hands that long, it stops serving the people, and starts serving itself.

Also the dad that used to work at Oklahoma State’s athletic department was working for the school district at the time of his kid’s crimes.

quote:

A Familiar Last Name in Stillwater At the time these assaults took place, Butler’s father, Mack Butler, served as the assistant athletic director for Stillwater Public Schools, a position that connected him directly to the city’s education and sports networks.
According to several residents familiar with the matter, the Butlers are deeply woven into Stillwater’s civic and social fabric. Those connections allegedly extended into the school district, local politics, and the judicial system itself.

After my first report on Jesse Butler’s sentencing, messages began flooding in from Stillwater parents and residents, people who said, “This isn’t new. This is how it’s always been.”

They were right.
