One suit jacket, one suit pair of pants, dry cleaning bill with tax was just over $15. Also, must be pre-paid.

Is this normal life in 2025?

$15 US dollars for someone else to wash your nasty cloths?

Is this a complaint or a brag?

Shoot, I’d prepay for $15. I think I’m paying around $22/$25 for a suit cleaning.

Folks gotta make a living. Dry clean your own suit.

normal

eta: I find a lot of variation in quality of service among cleaners. I would pay more for better service (the few cleaners I like closed locations I used).

Better not go to the tailor then cause just getting small stuff done there isn’t cheap anymore

If you think that's high, take your shite to Keans. That place is fricking ridiculously high.

That’s actually pretty cheap. Where I go it’s over $25.

is that good or bad? Pretty sure i pay more than that. is $15 supposed to be some outrageous sum? guess im confused

I picked up my dry cleaning yesterday.

3 full suits and 3 blazers (2 of the blazers were my wife's. Not sure if that makes a difference). $43. $15 for one suit is high.

Granted, I've been going to the same little Vietnamese lady in Harahan for 15 years, so maybe I get a deal.

This same suit, recently I bought it and brought to tailor to have sleeves and pant legs taken in slightly,

$56.

I just picked up my husbands order…ten pair of pants…$66. So $15 for a suit doesn’t sound crazy. The pre-paid part I would not care for.

If you own a quality suit, you’re only dry cleaning when the seasons change or when it’s absolutely necessary.

I'm not sure I ever DC a suit jacket? maybe if I got something on it.

Pants every now and then they tend to get dirty easier.

Yeah and the heat they use dries out and crumbles buttons on shirts.

Isn't taking possession of that sweet, sweet Michael Strahan suit deposit enough?
