If you took a left playbook, we should ban all dogs, thereby punishing the nonthreatening dogs and owners.

Raising a domesticated dog is simple. Dogs bred to fight can't be safely domesticated. Your pit mix is a ticking time bomb, and when he mangles your wife or a child, you will be acting shocked, when deep down inside you knew better.

Serious question. If a kid (in HS) post something like "Tomorrow I am going to release 5 pitbulls in the halls of school" would people take that as a threat?

I'm not normally one to call for litigation but for this case, I'd make an exception.
All 12 families need to file major lawsuits against the school and school board and use lack of security measures as their main argument. The school and school system would be forced to point out he fact that they can't necessarily help the fact that a dog wandered onto their property and attacked the children during recess.
Attention then turns to pit bull owners and their legal responsibilities. Suits then get filed against the owner (if they can find him/her) and boom, national attention turns to these TPOS dogs and their POS owners who swear they're good dogs.
If you own a pit bull you are the scum of the earth. No doubt in my mind. I've never seen a pit bull owner who I respected. Seriously, never. They've ALL been trash.

For the safety of my pembroke welsh corgi all pit bulls should be banned from camp bow wow’s, dog friendly restaurants and public parks. Hipsters need to quit rescuing and trying to rehabilitate these pest.
