Do you not understand the phrase "ticking time bomb"?

You must be a blast.

Since I’m the one on here who lives with my dog, I’ll safely assume he will live out his life without mauling me nor anybody else to death. Then what?

How many pit bulls attack? Is it 1 out of a 100? I don’t know...honest question. It’s like most news. You don’t hear stories of the pit bulls that don’t attack, only the ones that do.

This can be applied to people of certain races, religion, etc.

Don't care if people have these dogs as long as they understand the potential and keep the dog from others and on a leash outside.

Finally, a rational response.

My next door neighbor has two pits. He is a very responsible owner, but a couple of months ago one of his dogs charged another neighbor's dog on a walk.

The owner was able to pull it away before any major damage was done. Cops didn't do shite.

I've known that dog since it was a pup. Now, I don't trust it.

They're all nice dogs until they're not, and then it's too late.

Serious question..how much more in home insurance do you pay for having a pit at home?

It’s not a pure bred pit.

This guy has been through every boilerplate pit bull owner response, including "my [insert other harmless breed here] is much more likely to attack."

Do they teach you this at trashy school?

A: turns out it was a mutt that attacked at the school, not a pitbull.

B: these threads always bring out the idiots. It's sad how eager you people are to talk about something you know absolutely nothing about, in this case apbt tendencies, history, etc

Prosecuted and dog needs to be shot in a public forum..... say at lunch or just have an open assembly.

Good learning experience for kids.

Yep, and they bred these savage beasts over the last couple hundred years and what you see today is the result.

Point being, even if you're the best doggie owner ever, the killer instinct is inside just waiting.....

You can call me what you want behind that keyboard but I'd bet money I live a lot less "trashy" than you do.

And yea I own one. He's a great little hog dog. I trust him 100% but I'm sensible enough to understand what he's capable of. He's never shown an ounce of human aggression and he never will or he'll be put down at first sign.
