We can all play Monday morning QB here but I'm not about to judge anyone on how they should react to something like this.

What would you do if you had a job that paid you 8 bucks an hour...had to bury you 11 month old and then have to take care of your remaining 3 other children? I'd do anything to just survive including asking for donations.

Donated.

God bless that baby's soul and may the mother and her other children get the help they need and I pray they are able to find some kind of peace.

I don't understand how people do these horrible things.

What a world.

Some people have never had to suffer being broke with no possible way to make more money, no parents/grandparents around to ask or they're short on money themselves, etc. and don't understand how the mind operates in that situation. Most everyone has some sort of "fallback" option whether it be having to move back in with the parents, borrow money from them, take out personal loans, max out credit cards, whatever, but there ARE some that have literally no option.

Trust me, if you had no other options than to ask for help from strangers you'd swallow your pride and do it too. Especially if it meant your kids could eat and have a roof over their heads for even an extra day. Her mind is going through some crazy emotions right now and down to some very basic live or die instincts, not only for herself but her remaining kids. She's not gonna be showing typical body language and emotion right now.

Is there a way to watch the video without that worthless commercial from Steven Babcock Attorneys? Everyone I try to click "skip ad" it just opens a fricking tab to this dipshits website.

I gave up. It's probably something I don't wanna see anyway.

frick the Advocate.

i'm not her superior, i don't make that call... but she'd be worth every penny...

and as far as the interview, she was calm and collected, because the family had to coach her into being that way, to be able to get her message out... she was a wreck before that, and has been since it happened... just because she wasn't crying on camera and making a scene doesn't mean she's not absolutely torn down inside... trust me, as much as that girl loves her kids, she definitely is...

Thanks for the link. I gave and am sending my prayers to her. Was there anything that made the man snap like that? I don't understand this but i won't judge. It's just sad all around.

Made a small donation.

Can't imagine going through this as a parent.

From the aunts message on gofundme

On October 14, 2017 she had to suffer a tragic accident that ended in the death of her 11month old son Jericho Smith.

Why say it was a accident?

Bless those babies' hearts. I can't even imagine. This sickens me. It might be time to cut off my access to the news. I know bad things happen, but these sorts of things really tend to weigh me down, and I can't get the vision of big sister screaming and crying after seeing her little baby brother murdered. These kids will be so traumatized. Lord be with them, there is so much evil in this world.
