It can definitely be narrowly-tailored for specific areas. It doesn't need to be parish-wide.

How do you know they haven't? Just because a place closed at 8 doesn't mean they did it for the curfew
They literally had signs on their doors saying they were closing because of the curfew

There's also an article about in the Daily Report PM about how poor the communication is from Casey Raborn Hicks in regards to what businesses are allowed to remain open.

Now this seems to certainly be a problem.

My buddy who works at a bar called the sheriffs office and was told basically.....
They cannot legally tell a business to close.
You can stay open all night if you wish.
Employees can go to and from work legally.
So its up to the customers to leave when they want, its on them.
I really don't see Sheriffs office or BRPD harassing every Uber leaving bars lol

They couldn't harass uber because they are working. It's the patrons who are taking a risk.

They could most certainly harass uber drivers. If they wanted to follow their boss's lead and be dicks about it.

I've seen a cop pull an uber driver out of his car and try to arrest him outside Ivars.

If me and two other employees and the cops partner had not interfered, he'd would have been arrested.

That was on a non-curfew night.

If there are so many exceptions to the curfew, why does it exist in the first place?

Curfew. Standard issue ID's. Checkpoints. Uniforms. Socialism.

All in the name of 'safety.'

How's all that working out for you, North Korea? USA not far behind thanks to short-sighted 'baws' with no insurance on their bass boat and 4- wheelers, along with militarized police units and a complicit Sheriff.

To keep people who aren't working or in an emergency situation home. Pretty simple.

Why do they need to be at home?

They need to home. You need to be home.

'Cause the man said so. Your freedom is gone.

So the police won't have to wade through the whites & can arrest the blacks that are loitering around the city up to no good.

I'd consider 3 days long term.

It's pretty damn safe where I live and work
