EAST BATON ROUGE PARISH - A curfew will remain in effect for East Baton Rouge Parish on Thursday night, according to the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office.
Curfew begins at 10 p.m. and runs until 6 a.m. Curfews have been put into place in EBR Parish for the past two nights due in part to incidents of looting in North Baton Rouge in the days after historic flooding came to Baton Rouge and surrounding areas.
Other parishes affected by flooding are likely to see curfews put into place for Thursday night as well. Check back for updates.

I had no idea there was a curfew the past two nights.

Completely unnecessary at this point. There have been a few isolated incidents of looting at most?
And looters really give a shite about a curfew and respect the law anyway, right?

I would.
whats the fine for being out after curfew. you really can't be arrested. all you have to do is say you are sick and on the way to the hospital.
its just a scare tactic to keep criminals at bay

They mention north Baton Rouge.
Why not just put it in place there?

ubers would be breaking curfew as would the bar patrons

Incorrect. It says you are fine if you are going to or from work...
Patron: officer I work from home
Uber driver: officer I am currently at work

EBR economy getting trolled, just another tactic to hurt businesses and make everyone rely on Hillary/Obama.

And to give officers a legitimate reason to pull anyone over at any time (after curfew).
I'm sure this will devolve into a hate thread again (EDIT: it already did, getting the Hillary call out on the first page is actually impressive), but after speaking with several business owners on Coursey and Sherwood today who were looted, I am not opposed to the idea.
If it continues into the weekend, however... could get interesting.
