Just drove through there and people seem to be confused. Witnessed a few near misses. Also, the fact that they couldn’t bother to remove all of the old road lines and reflectors is ridiculous for the time and money that went into this project. BR gonna BR.

Its' the 10/12 MERGE. The split didn't change.

I see no issue with it whatsoever. If you cannot figure out what lane you're in, you're an idiot.

This project has made my daily commute 95% better. It’s much nicer to get in the right lane on 10 and not have to cross 2-3 lanes of traffic to get to College or Acadian. People not understanding how to drive isn’t a new thing. That’ll never change.

Bawls gonna bi@tch about everything.

As someone who drives it every day, its a much smoother transition but the highway still pinches at Acadian. They need to keep working and extend that far right lane past Dalyrmple. Hopefully they barricade off a lane for I-110 going north like they did the college exit lane. I'm beginning to see the light...

Then tackling the bridge issue and we'll have infrastructure to accomodate 2005 traffic.

It's part of the bridge expansion project. Unfortunately, the exit will remain open only available to eastbound traffic that crosses the bridge.

Looking at the drawings it appears there will be a barricade preventing I- 110 traffic from accessing the exit.

How many Baton Rouge drivers are using the new College drive exist lane only to merge back across 5 lanes of traffic to the left because they want to go the Lafayette?

Very little as most are accustomed to the right lane exiting to college and Acadian so they are already programmed to move left

I'm fun enough not to whine because I can't figure out interstate lanes.

None because they built a concrete wall so once you're in the exit lane, you're committed. Like a previous poster stated, they built this one right. Nothing for you pansies to bitch about on this one.

Only people not paying attention seem to be having issues with it.

Looks like the project isn’t 100% complete so I’d give them some more time to fix the striping as that’s usually the last task.

I don’t believe there’s any plans to expand the bridge
