Having gone through the “Storm of the Century” in North Alabama in 1993 I’m thinking of all y’all in harms way. Stay safe over there!

Last 2 days are the first days I’ve had to deal with moving snow. I could move it very well yesterday with blower. Today suns out and temps in upper teens it was starting to crust up, which made the job more difficult.

I’d hit it with blower, then fall back with torch to cover all your footsteps. Oh and my lithium battery lasted a lot longer today in the warmer weather. Don’t think I got 10 mins in yesterday.

Given my experience the past 36 years in North Texas ... maybe, maybe pop out of my rat hole later Tuesday - more likely Wednesday

Radar has another fling of snow headed our direction...should have kept my caboose in the Basin...I despise winter, even when it is dry

What I suspect are Sandhill Cranes have been camped out behind our place for several days now. They're in a soybean field, and there may be 100 or more of them. Now, after all this rain, they'll have a small pond for a day or two.

It stopped snowing here in NW Arkansas about a hour ago. I guestimate between 10 and 12 inches are on the ground. The temperature is 12 degrees and it is to get into the minuses tonight.

I need to move South.

Not much better down here in central Arkansas. Maybe 2 to 4 less on the ground and same temps to deal with.

Even further south got shite on with ice, so I'd say you're sitting pretty up there. We both got lucky to not get the nasty stuff

I don’t think I’ve ever seen this much sleet. I may not be able to leave the parents house until Tuesday. Since they live on the county line, I swear Little Rock hardly ever come out this way to clear the roads.

Checking in safe from winter storm nothingburger

Yep. Here in Hammond we got a little rain, that’s it.

Once again, liberal meteorologists like Ryan Hall hyped this up for no reason. I’m sick of it.

Just finished clearing a path in our driveway to get a vehicle out with a kids mini shovel. Our big one must have gotten left when we moved

Rain and freezing here all day. Evergreens are drooping bad, but they'll recover. A few power flickers but lucky so far. Rain should stop in a couple of hours, then down to 11 tonight. I shoveled the driveway earlier with the crappiest shovel ever, will get a new one after this passes. I don't know why I did it, we're not going anywhere. Wore myself out though between the crappy shovel and mix of slush and hard stuff. Stay safe everyone!
