To produce enough BTU's to keep a room at 65, those candles will fricking kill you. DO NOT DO THIS

I guess I'm dumb, I could see it not working but why would it kill you?

Sleeting again. I guess that was just a little snow flurry that pushed through quickly.

This is what NOAA is forecasting for today/tonight/Sun morning. We got about 3 from first round they say some dry air at ground kept it from being higher. And now say dray air is gone and this time its for real. We’ll see

We got about an inch of snow on the ground in North Dallas. It looks beautiful

Lucky you. All we are getting in Fort Worth is ice. Haven't seen a single snowflake over here.

I don't know, but I've seen women have more than two of those, lit up around a bath tub, in a small bathroom and soak for hours????

What's producing CO? There's candles and a piece of metal

You’re saying burning candles will kill you?

Actually getting more sleet and snow here than freezing rain

Much colder than it was supposed to be. Phone says 34 here now but actual temperature reading is 29

Pretty sure candles won’t give off enough CO to kill you

AI Overview
While a single, properly burning candle in a ventilated room produces negligible carbon monoxide (CO), burning numerous candles in a small, unventilated, or tightly sealed space can indeed generate enough carbon monoxide to cause serious health risks or fatality. While rare under normal conditions, the danger is real in confined environments.

Correct.

Big danger is too many in too small a place will suck up all the oxygen. But you'd have to REALLY screw up to have a problem.

He was asking if he could heat his house with candles!!!! You would need 100s. They don't burn as clean as your natural gas stove top burners.

Don’t forget to make sure your gutters are draining well. Don’t want blocks of ice sitting in there .

24 and feels like 7 in Dallas

brutally cold. Don't want to be out there too long. Roads mostly empty. Gotta watch your step with all the ice.
