I have a ‘23 with the Cummings and I have a close friend with a ‘22 with the 5.7 Hemi, both have been solid trucks.

I just had the same with a 24 Tahoe with only 36k miles. There is a service bulletin that calls for an updated valve body assembly and yet the dealership replaced with a remanufactured valve body. They told me that is all they could get from GM. The ac had also gone out on this car at 15k. Had a 20 Silverado and the transmission had to be replaced with less than 50k. Had a 21 Tahoe with the 5.3 in which the lifters failed at 70k. Friends 21 Tahoe with the 5.3 also just had the lifters fail at around 90k. Wife has the 6.2 in a 24 Tahoe I am also waiting for the engine issues to appear. I too am done with GM after these unfortunately. I just don’t know what is a better more reliable option.

I know a few transmission techs and they say all of them have issues. I was looking to get rid of my 2010 F150 and they all told me to keep it

10 spouses the greatest transmission ever produced, I’ve never had any issues.

I can relate.
Had two Sierra’s back to back.
Both started having issues around 100k and the latter transmission went out at 106k. Never getting another GM.
Got a Toyota and I can’t believe I waited this long. It’s awesome. Will never buy another make truck

Same. The Tundra can’t hold a candle to the GM when it comes to cabin features (at least on the 2019
Models). But the fact that the major components don’t crap out within the first 100,000 miles is all you need to know. I still have two GM vehicles but when they’re gone, I’m done with the brand.

They brought back the same V8 they used from 2004-2024. It's well proven.

Ram comes with the ZF 8 Speed. Much better offering than Ford/GM.
