I think Winston is still hurt even though they have cleared him to be the backup.

I would much rather fully commit to Taysom as QB in this pathetic season. At least that would be exciting. And spare me the previous years he was QB. He was injured and this is about a terrible season anyways.

This is a 3 win team and Dalton isn't the long term answer anyways. He was super frustrating this past week. Maybe he bounces back this week, but that offense frustrated me this past week. Hard to watch.

The game isn't in primetime this week so Dalton will play better.

Down starting center and guard. I’d rather wait

They have a lot of games against a lot of shitty teams, I agree it's probably a 5 win team in a regular season. But, for whatever reason there is a lot of bad play across the league. This team could legitimately make the playoffs, and as bad as the NFC is even win a game. With that possibility still looming out there, they are going with the safer bet in Dalton until it's a forgone conclusion.

Winston probably is still injured, and even if he can play they should do what's best for him and let him heal unless they get desperate.

He's most likely still injured

Neither one of these guys is good enough. But that’s not the Saint most pressing problem.

The defense is a giant let down this season. Period.

Jameis is an 8 year league veteran so we’ve seen the ceiling with him too. What’s your point? Jameis is terrible and the offense runs much smoother with Dalton although it’s still a pretty bumpy ride.

It’s whatever. Saints deserve this for the last 3 years of shite decisions.

Because the Saints QB situation is the Spider-Man meme. They all suck.

Unlikely considering he spent the whole offseason and training camp focused on TE. I know he still spends time in the QB room during the week, but DA doesn't strike me as the type to take that kind of risk. It's the reason he named Dalton the starter. He's the safest option and just trying to survive this year.

Normally I'd agree, but he's been in the same system forever now and with the same OC.

I agree DA is not the guy to do it, but I really wish they would. This season sucks so much.

far from it, he has only had one WR and he only had him for 2 games

its not easy to throw a pass when there is no one who can get open or catch it

but you go ahead and keep shite posting stupidity

Lame excuse. We didn't have any WRS last year either. Dalton sucks.

I think it's a injury as well. If not injured and limited I can't see why they wouldn't try. But they won't feed Taysom and AK the ball so maybe they are just stupid.
