She certainly has a responsibility to those that buy tickets to attend games.

The owner is ultimately responsible for the finished product delivered by any company, whether that is retail, tech, cars...or a football team... the owner has a responsibility to ensure that the product being bought by the customer is as good as it can be.

Totally nitpicking here, but I'd argue that her responsibility to those that buy tickets is that the Saints show up and play a game. Beyond that, it's caveat emptor. This is an entertainment product. And it's up to us to decide if the current product is worth investing in.

And she won’t do anything because she isn’t capable of making the kind of decisions required of an NFL owner.

What decision did she not make that she should have? Go on

You have to determine the dynamic of Gayle, Dennis Lauscha and Mickey Loomis as a three headed monster of the business of the Benson ownership Group before you can truly establish what role she actually has.

I’m not so quick to lambast her because this ownership dynamic was apparently established before Tom Benson died and seemingly with his input and direction.

Whatever it is it ain’t working.

I am sorry ,but when did you guys start watching the Saints? I know the Sean Payton/Drew Brees era may have ruined many of you ,but we are not close to disasters yet.

This. We aren’t close to the Ditka years. We’re trending there. But not there yet.

People also forget that Sean Payton had 3 consecutive 7-9 seasons. Though we are in a shite division this year we can still win the division. Personally I think it is clear that Dennis Allen is a great coordinator, but in over his head as a HC. Is he the worst? Hardly ,but I think it is clear he is better as a coordinator. To my point though this is not disastrous.

Why are you calling her “Ms. Gayle”?

My favorite time to attend games was during the Haslett/Brooks era. Tickets were dirt cheap or sometimes free, you didn't have high expectations, but there were some exciting games mixed in. The Dome was a funner place full of working class fans that were ready to party.

Since the Peightonn era and subsequent success, prices shot up on not just tickets but everything else that goes along with gameday and a big chunk of the really fun fans were priced out. Now in the DA era prices are still high, the offense is flat, and the starting QB and our highest paid WR are unlikable. The Dome is a shell of what it was.

Holy hell dude. So what is your definition for the purpose of the business she owns?

I’d say if you’re failing in most metrics and you’re not making changes then you’re a shitty owner.

Since you cant fire her you make your displeasure know. Stop consuming the product.

I'm vying for Todd Graves to buy our beloved Saints!

Despite what the media reports, he doesn’t have nearly enough to buy 100%. He may not have enough for a simple majority. There is probably only one Louisianaia resident who can and that’s Chouest. He has more liquidity than both the Bensons and Graves.

Todd Graves is a Cowboys fan. He even has a suite in ATT stadium and gave Post Malone his personalized Cowboys themed Canes.

As owner, she’s not accountable to anyone but herself.

Well this is about a stupid frickin post! Of course she owes us something. The state of LA has put hundreds of millions of dollars into those franchises (read our money) and to be a lazy arse owner is unacceptable!

Is it really laziness? She simply lacks the ability to make any meaningful decisions. It’s like expecting my 8 year old nephew to do something.

She is meddling by doing nothing about the management.
