Why did 2 bad Jameis showing this season completely negate his solid season last year?

This is not saying he’s good. But did all the “he went 6-2” chanting go up in smoke due to a bad couple showings? Why is Jameis Winston unstartable garbage while Dalton is going on double the amount of shitty games?

Am I missing something? Sean Payton leaving Jameis should never touch the field?

Let Allen run it his way that way we can fire him soon

Because Sean Payton isn’t walking back through the door.

JW is awful. Plain and simple: Awful.

No easy fix, not gonna be pretty. Might as well bring back those early 70s uniforms for good as it's going to start looking like the 70s Saints for the rest of the year. The line sucks, can't keep a receiver healthy...Defense...

Game 1 he was injured and came back to win..
Game 2 wasn't as bad as everyone is making it out to be (especially against that defense.. they were unreal to start the year)
Game 3 wasn't great

Dalton has had one good game and it came against one of the worst teams in the NFL.

Biggest difference, in my opinion, is Winston is injured. Once his back is good to go, you can put him in and see what he can do. Until then, you cannot thrust him into the starting role with a back injury. If this team was legit and he gave them a chance to go deep; you may consider it. But, it's a complete shite show and would not be the right way to handle it; even if the team has no expectations to keep him next year

Yeah, you'll get downvoted for this (and probably me for agreeing) but you're not wrong.

Surely it has nothing to do with broken vertebrate in his back...

The coaching staff we have can't take advantage of the positives of Jameis, but the negatives are still there

That's it

The reality of it is the New Orleans Saints are a 3-7 team today no matter which one starts at QB.

The bigger question is why does the defense (Which was one of the better defenses on 2021) that added talent in the offseason look so incredibly piss poor in 2022? If that gave up they must have given up before the first game of the season because they have been crap from day 1.

This. Jameis was Payton's choice at QB. Allen is sticking with Dalton to show he can make decisions on his own and, big surprise, they aren't working.

I would like to see Jameis get another chance to play this year. Although, his success last year is now very clearly tied to CSP.

If anybody, anywhere on this fricking planet is vouching for either one of these trash arse quarterbacks, you should probably just go ahead and take a long walk off a short pier

Y’all arguing back-and-forth over Winston or Dalton is pointless because they are both horrible

Winston really wasn't that good last year.

Tell me what talent?

You lost a top 5 free safety in free agency and as much as Jenkins is hated, he's a better ss than these two jokes.

The injury prone duo of davenport and Lattimore keep showing they can't depended on.

And right now we have a defense that is perpetually worn out because our offense can’t stay on the fricking field. These guys on defense quit like five weeks ago and I don’t blame them
