She was using a Saints organization provided cell phone- was bad-mouthing Tom, Mickey, and Gale on a daily basis. She was counting the days until she took over and would move the team to LA.
The problem is Tom et al had access to all her conversations.

Rita is a prime example of LSUFanHouston's Generational Wealth Dynamic.
The first generation of wealth (Tom in this case, and Gayle by virtue of marriage) worked very, very hard for their wealth. Perhaps that hard work and hard drive makes them a bit difficult. But they earned everything they have.
The second generation of wealth (Renee in this case) can somewhat remember life without ALL the money. However, there is enough money to not have to worry about anything. Sometimes, this generation gets involved in the family business, other times, they want to make their own mark (assisted by the money, no doubt). They usually work in some capacity, and are generally decent people to deal with.
The third generation of wealth (Rita and Ryan in this case) are complete trash and useless. They have no idea of life as anything but rich. They have never had to work for anything in life, and as such, have no idea how to treat people, how to work for things, etc.
Rita wanted all the trappings and none of the work. She would have been better off staying in Texas and just living off the cash.

A friend of my nephew did a few months of an internship with the Saints and he told everyone, before all this stuff came out about her, that she was a complete lunatic and no one believed him. When it all came about, he was like I fricking told ya’ll...
He told stories about, if you told her hello, she would have you fired by the end of the day....
