Book was a fourth round pick and Jackson was a sixth. Someone needs to be held responsible in management if the Saints wants to return to the Super Bowl and not mediocrity.

It’s actually the EXACT opposite. If your roster is so poor that late round picks are making the 53 on the reg, you’ve not built a good roster. There were very few roster spots available BECAUSE Loomis, Ireland, and the personnel department have done such a great job over last several years. The same GM that got 7th round Colston ? 3rd round Kamara ? Undrafted Pierre Thomas, Harty, Lance Moore, etc?
The draft is hit a miss for everyone.
Look at Josh Mac Daniel, on his second team and he drafted Tebow in first round.
Hell even Bellicheck passed on Tom Brady 5 times.

That same management group that you want punished has delivered one of the most talented rosters in football/one of the most winning franchises over the last 2 decades(top 5 in wins, I think).
We were like a half game away from the playoffs while having to start the most players in league history due to injury…..and without a quarterback. That’s a sign that you’re doing things right.
If you’re consistently missing on 1-3 round draft picks, that’s a problem. The rest is a crap shoot.

Literally 0 teams hit on every late round pick. That includes teams like the Ravens who are considered the best of the best at drafting. The Saints have unquestionably been a top 5 drafting team over the last 5-6 years.
