What position do y'all want to draft with our top 10-12 pick?

I think it's pretty likely the Saints pick in the top 12 this year even if losing Dennis Allen is addition by subtraction. We'd have to go 4-3 down the stretch and win pretty much all our coinflip games to even get to 7-10.

I know everyone will want QB, but I have a feeling the top 2 or 3 QBs will get pushed up above where we're comfortable taking them. Plus if Loomis is still around, I doubt he wants to signal a rebuild by doing that

If not QB I would like us to draft a stud edge rusher or a big WR like Tet McMillan from Arizona. Both are positions that you feel good about in the top 10 and we need both those positions badly. Especially with Olave's mounting concussion history, unfortunately.

I know we've missed a lot of picks at this position, but we really need to try on D line again.

Early mocks suggest a fairly deep draft for OT and Edge guys. Could suit us well in that range. We will see how it turns out after combine

I like the idea of a highly drafted rookie QB sitting behind Carr...but realistically just BPA

Are we drafting with our current scouting department or a new scouting department. If current, avoid edge rushers at all costs and go oline or DT. If new, roll the dice on competency and get BPA between either oline or Dline.

Abdul Carter, Nic Scourton or James Pearce Jr.

I’m tired of statue QBs like Cousins and Stafford having all day to throw the ball. We need a pass rush in the worst way. Pick a guard in the 2nd round.

This is the answer. Definitely don’t want a qb this year.

Draft a guard and safety in the 2nd and 3rd. Can get good ones in those rounds.

Graham maybe good, but the bust rate at DT is high.

Campbell is the last person we need to draft in the first. Smh

We are set at tackle. Penning has played well enough for us to not have to worry about that spot. We need IOL and Dline and WR. Realistically this team needs to go BPA for the next 2 years. No reaching for QBs because you need one. You reach for any of these QBs and youll still need one but be down 1 premium pick. I hate this crop of QBs.

Agree with all this.

You never know what QBs are going to be great or terrible. We truly never know. That being said. QB isn’t our biggest problem. Carr is average and we can’t get rid of him for a year or two anyway.

Our first pick almost has to be DE, S, or WR. We're so unbelievably thin at each position. We have almost nothing at S other than Mathieu who is one season away from falling off a cliff, and filler.

Sooo much has to happen before we know what the priorities will be but as of today I'd say the biggest position needs in order of priority are.

WR
OG
TE
S
LB
DE

If we're picking 10-12 you pick whatever player you have rated highest on your board.
