USA Today mock has

1. Mendoza
2. Moore
3. Reese
4. Faulk
5. Tate
6. Tyson
7. Bain

That leaves Downs, Bailey, and Delane.. plus all of the o-linemen

We have 1st, 2nd, 3rd, two 4ths, two 5ths and a 6th as we stand now. They’ll get a 4th rd comp pick for Adebo. If Carr comes back and wants to play they can grab a pick for him as well in a trade

We will have seven picks alone in the top 150 after the Adebo Comp. Haven’t had that many in the top 150 since 1986

Sorry, meant to say we can’t have another soft WR like Olave

Bruh. Your comment was that the big bad RB makes those guys better. Are you now saying those guys didn't indeed make the others better? Did you forget what you were arguing? How much success did those RB's bring those teams? You straight up just provided a counter argument for your own opinion.

Bruh, my comment was that I wouldn’t hate the Love pick, I think I even called it a luxury pick. You suggested we draft OL/DL in the first round for the ninth time in 11 years, we ought to have the best goddamned lines in football with all that investment. You pointed to bad franchises that have a reputation of drafting the next shiny thing as examples of what not to do, I was pointing out they have also invested in their lines (though not at an 80% rate), but are bad at drafting and lack a culture to develop players. We have no skill players on offense outside of Olave and will at some point have to draft a player in the first round that is not a lineman.

So you’d be ok passing on Downs, Bain, Bailey for Love?

Trade the pick. We need much more than 1 player

Not likely to be a guard worth the pick at 8 (if we stay put), and we should NOT attempt yet another position switch with the guys we have, because that has largely not worked with any of them to this point.

You go bpa at 8 and get a guard in round 2 (or trade up into round 1 for the best one at the back end).

Downs/ OL would play 100% of offensive/ defensive snaps and actually make other players jobs easier.

Really want Downs

You know what is a homerun pick? Someone that will have more than 60% snap usage and not have to rely on another position for success.

We don’t have a ton of picks and plenty of long term holes

We have 8 picks in a 7 round draft and all of our rookies from last year are either on active roster or top of the practice squad list. We don’t need more picks. We need to find 4-5 guys for active roster with hopefully a couple of them solid starters with upside. Expecting 2017 or 2025 is unrealistic.

You really need to let this go. You need to get the best offensive lineman on the field at the same time. Peat, Penning and Ruiz are bad lineman. Banks and Fuaga are not.

I’m fine with this approach too. Just please stop being so dogmatic to think Fuaga can’t slide inside.

Okay name a guy we switched his position from college and he played well there.

Only one that eventually worked out okay was Peat finally settling at LG after CLEARLY never working out on the right side (yet being forced to play RT and RG for large periods), having been exclusively a LT in college. And that only took how many years?

The people who want Love are incapable of realizing that an undrafted RB may have more success with an unpgraded OL than Love with our current OL.

We saw last year Skattebo was outperforming Jeanty. You can find good running backs any round.

Jahiri Evans and Carl Nicks were college tackles. Strief moved from guard to tackle mid career. We moved Lecharles Bentley to guard his first few years. They played kinda well

Some of the best guards in the league were former tackles
