I'm sorry that you will have to travel all the way to Nashville to watch your son play in the NFL Mr. Spears

1) NOT signing Andy Dalton to a one-year deal as a backup QB and mentor to D. Carr
2) NOT giving J. Winston his out right release
3) NOT drafting that Tulane RB from Ponchatoula (T. Spears) instead of the TCU RB (Miller, nursing a bad knee presently)

Lol. Stick to Tulane football homey.

It's honestly impressive to have three terrible takes

I normally try to not be rude to people on here but this is downright fricking retarded and you should feel bad for these takes. I hope you’re trolling.

Dalton being drafted 3 years prior to Carr qualifies him as a mentor? Dude...
Maybe its those extra 20 starts that would give Dalton enough to help Carr

Tyjae Spears literally does not have an ACL in one of his knees and confirmed has arthritis.
Meanwhile Miller is a full go for training camp and probably could have competed at rookie minicamp coming off an MCL injury.
One is on the upswing with no real medical history, the other is about to fall off a cliff...

Carr is a 9 year pro. Dalton is only 3 years older than him.

What kind of stupid troll is this? You think Carr needs a mentor and that mentor should be Dalton?
Posted on 5/18/23 at 2:50 pm to oncealurker
You do realize d Carr is an 8 year vet I don't think he needs a mentor

If Carr at this point of hi career needs a mentor then he is in trouble. Now if you want Dalton as the backup I am fine with that.

2) NOT giving J. Winston his out right release
I am indifferent as long as he isn't the starter. He has provedhe can't do that. As a backup I would have been ok with that.
quote:As much as it pains me to say ( I cannot explain the level of pride it would have given me as a fellow PHS alum and pride to our hometown for Tyjae to be a Saint ) but they made the right move. As great as Tyjae is his knee is a ticking time bomb. If and when it goes off he may never play another down. Drafting Miller was the smart move.
3) NOT drafting that Tulane RB from Ponchatoula (T. Spears) instead of the TCU RB (Miller, nursing a bad knee presently)
