I believe most Saints fans are not really excited about this upcoming season. The Saints have issues on the offensive line. I think the defense will keep them in some games, but the offense will be crap. I believe everyone is more excited about wanting to know how long DA will last this season before he gets fired. I know they won't fire him in mid season because Benson doesn't believe in that so they will hold on until all the wheels come off. I don't think they will be exciting to watch and it's a shame because this fan base deserves a lot better.

What's there to be excited about?

I don't think we have a single player other than maybe Shaheed that I would consider "exciting" or "fun".

We're going to suck AND be boring to watch.

The only excitement for me comes from knowing Dennis Allen will hopefully be fired by midseason.

And Loomis will get promoted elsewhere

Us Cowboy Fans feel the same way, years and years of the same old sheet.

We could be pretty good and maybe win 10-12 games but no one cares until the playoffs when crap the bed every year.

I can't wait to watch this defense at full strength for 4 quarters. We are going to be very hard to score on.

I've made my peace with a 3-7 win season and I'm focused on watching the young players this team will be rebuilding around in the future.

Also the defense will be fun to watch as long as they don't lose the locker room and start coasting because the offense isn't taking them anywhere.

For me, I start with the outlook of the league as a whole. I phucking hate Goodell as I’m sure many others do. I feel it difficult to get into football when I know that scum bag can interfere in any game he wants to get the story line he wants. Call me crazy but I’ve seen enough NFL meddling to say I’m not wasting my valuable Sundays anymore. Then you add in the offensive implosion, infighting, the mutiny by the offense in the falcons game last year and I find it hard to get excited. This team has a long way to go to turn it around.

Not if they are on the field after consecutive 3 and outs

My extreme fandom died after Minnesota Miracle and PI no call was another dagger to the heart, still a fan just not as intense

We don’t even have very exciting players on offense outside of shaheed.

Kamara is more steady at this point in his career. Williams is just a guy and a plodder, miller is a 4.6 guy who is always hurt.

Olave is a good route running low end WR1 but is never going to dominate a game in of himself. Pair that with Carr and a shite o line and it’s just not overly exciting.

Contrast that to some other teams like the 9ers, eagles, dolphins, or God forbid even the falcons who have much more exciting players with game breaking ability. It’s just not that exciting.

I consider Shaheed, a healthy Kamara, and Hill all to be exciting offensive players and while it's fair to say Olave may not be "exciting," he's awfully good. For me, it's not the absence of exciting players but rather the absence of the unexciting but indispensable OL that haunts us.

This is so accurate, I haven't gotten excited about NFL Football since the "no call". At least the WWF had entertaining characters.

I will never forgive Tommylee's worthless arse for just getting up and jogging back to the sideline like that was some sort of routine play. If he would have gotten up and went crazy they might have actually thrown the flag.
